Tiny newborn babies are born with very flimsy heads and necks. Their heads need to be supported and prevented from falling back or they can pick up damage. Often, it is a problem when the baby has to go into a car seat or sleep in a pram.

The use of a head support pillow is recommended as this will help to keep the baby’s head in place and not roll around from side to side. Once the baby’s neck muscles starts to hold the head up by itself, the head support pillow is no longer needed.

At Baby Things we provide head support pillows of all shapes and sizes. Custom made head support pillows with your choice of material is available. It is important for us to provide a head support pillow that will not shift around so that your baby’s head is safe and secure, therefore we use standard car seat measurements, or measurements that you yourself provide for us to make the head support pillow.
